ABOUT OUR SHOP
I'm Sue Kuhn, owner and designer at Sew Essential Accessories (formerly known as Not Just for the Beach). I've been sewing for many years, since I was a young child. My Grandmother introduced me to the art of creating beautiful and practical items. I proudly display her Singer sewing machine in my home.

All items available for purchase online were designed, created, and personally sewn by me. I take great satisfaction in making sure each item is of high quality and is durable enough to withstand your busy lifestyle (including life in a suitcase or handbag). All fabrics are pre-washed in environmentally safe detergent and created in a smoke and animal free environment.

All pouches are fully lined and reinforced with double stitching to ensure an extra long life.

Vintage fabrics have been obtained through estate sales or interior design businesses that had discontinued samples and bolts of material. Limited Edition pieces are in short supply and when they're gone, they're gone! With either choice, you will know with certainty that you have purchased a one of a kind piece that is not mass marketed or found in the general public.
I love to recycle and help Mother Earth by re-using quality fabric, resulting in products that are useful, practical, and beautiful.
